Originally built as a Classic Italianate in the 1840's by Prominent Sea Captain, Benjamin Low, in 1905 it was transformed by the Wealthy Proctor Sisters into a Grand Georgian with NeoClassic features. Most of the original detail remains undisturbed. This historic home can be found in Fitz Henry Lane Paintings dated 1840 on display at the Cape Ann Historical Museum. www.capeannhistoricalmuseum.org
